About the role
AHA is seeking a communications professional experienced in digital media management and project management to join the Corporate Services team on a full-time basis, for the period of one year with the possibility of extension. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and fun team, working under the direction of the Communications Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
coordinating activities that drive engagement across all of AHA's digital media channels such as social media, website, video, etc.
managing projects and communications strategies at various stages of their lifecycle
publishing and monitoring content on AHA's digital media platforms
analysing digital media performance to optimise the use of existing channels
evaluating and reporting on digital communication activities
assisting with corporate and project communications tasks
developing and maintaining relationships with member organisations and partners

Skills and experience
Tertiary study qualifications in communications or relevant discipline.
Demonstrated experience (three years or more) in professional writing, editing, publishing, digital media and/or journalism.
Experience in managing projects and delivering communications strategies with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with relevant software applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Office suite, WordPress, Campaign Monitor, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple managers and adapt to change.
Experience in managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Proficiency in email marketing.
Demonstrated experience in generating growth and engagement across digital media channels.
Ability to work autonomously.
Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to communicate technical information in plain language.
Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Experience and first-hand understanding of publishing processes (both print and web).
Proficiency in Adobe publication tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
Skills in website and digital performance optimisation.
Experience in user experience design, campaign development, campaign tracking and analytics, and customer journey mapping.
Experience in applying a customer-centric approach to work activities.
