Mechanical Fitter

Capital Cranes & Hoists (AUST) are an Australian family owned and operated business situated in Maddington. The company began 30 years ago, and has since gained a leading position in the overhead crane market for the servicing and designing of cranes.

About the Position

This position is mainly site work, with sites located in Perth Metro and Rural Western Australia. Candidates must be prepared to travel to sites located all around WA, including Karratha, Pilbara, Kalgoorlie and Esperance at short notice. 

General Tasks:

• Inspections
• Maintenance
• Installation
• Repairs

Successful applicants must have the following:

• Restricted Electrical License (or willing to gain)
• Heavy industrial experience
• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Strong mechanical mindset
• A knack for problem-solving
• EWP / Working at Heights Certificate (High-Risk Workers License)
• Current C Class Australian drivers' license
• White card (or construction card recognized in WA)
• Ability to solve problems on the go
• Good mechanical skills
• Work well under pressure
• Willingness to learn and be a part of our dynamic and supportive team
• Available to work overtime and out of standard working hours as required
• Reliable transportation
• High-level fault-finding skills
