About the team

Annually, the VicRoads' Contact Centre Team answer over 1.8 million calls from the Victorian public providing pivotal front-line customer service, advice and support to our valued customers. Based in Wendouree, Ballarat, our Contact Centre team work in an open plan, Agile environment


About the role

The Senior Customer Service Consultant role is responsible for delivering Customer Service Excellence to the Victorian public. We have a mixture of full time and part time roles (ongoing & fixed term) working as part of adynamic and face paced Call Centre environment. We offer full time induction training (13 days paid training prior to commencement of the role) and ongoing support from your Team Leader and Subject Matter Experts (SME's). You will be provided with great ongoing opportunities for career development. Our Consultants are encouraged to:

About the ideal candidate

As the ideal candidate, you will be a Customer Service professional who possesses:

  • Previous customer service/contact centre experience
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (minimum 25 WPM typing speed)
  • A genuine passion and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • A positive can-do and friendly attitude
  • A desire to learn, grow and develop within a team who offer formal training and further career progression opportunities
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours and availability
  • Be able to commit to working full time Monday - Friday 9:30am - 5:36pm
