Artist/Animator 1 Senior, 2 Midweight & 1 Junior

Summary:
Global gaming company looking to fill 4 positions.

 

Successful applicants will be responsible for creating, inspiring and executing the development and delivery of innovative gaming product to a global market.

 

Applicants must have extensive knowledge in any 3 or more of the following:

• Experience in the gaming industry, especially slot machines.
• Fluent in Chinese language and culture.
• 2D illustration - Developing in game assets such as game symbols and backgrounds.
• Graphic Design - Layout and design of Marketing and promotional materials.
• UX design - Layout and design of user interfaces and gaming screens.
• 2D animation - Animation of in game assets and special effects.

 

And any 2 of the following:

• 3d modelling and animation.
• Basic HTML5 coding.
• Knowledge of PixieJS creation engine.
• Spine animation (or comparable).

 

And any 1 of the following:

• An absolute passion for the gaming industry.

 

Positions will be filled based on experience and merit.

 

Youll be:

• Highly creative with exceptional design and layout skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain organised, layered files and asset storage.
• Assisting in conceptualizing game designs and provides multiple creative solutions.
• Able to provide and receive art critiques in a professional manner and pivot to implement changes quickly and effectively.
• Work closely with Art Director and team to develop artistically and professionally.
• Capable of communicating effectively, tactfully and comfortably with all levels of personnel within the organization internal and external to D&D.
• Assuming other duties as assigned.
• Proficient in Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and 3D Animation.
• In possession of a strong understanding of game development process and methodology.
• Exceptional in drawing, illustration and composition ability.
• Able to work both independently and in and across teams.
• A big thinker who adapts to change in creative environment.
• Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills.
• A Problem Analyst with strong problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
• A strategic thinker, with an ability to plan and direct to meet future business and customer requirements.
• Able to organize and manage multiple priorities.
