About the role
You will provide exceptional communications and event management expertise to support the delivery of cultural and operational initiatives.
This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative team within a growing and transforming organisation. Reporting to the Communications Manager for [email protected], this is an 18-month contract, based in Hawthorn, Melbourne.
Manage the delivery of large-scale annual events
Coordinate the delivery of a series of smaller on-line and in-person events
Develop, implement and measure communication plans for projects and initiatives
Create supporting collateral including printed materials, toolkits, videos etc
Write and edit content for internal and external channels supporting content strategy
Provide general communications support and administrative tasks as required
We’re looking for someone who
Has a minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience within a Communications role
Is Tertiary qualified in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline
Has experience in managing events, large and small
Is highly competent in verbal, written, traditional, and digital communication
Possesses strong networking and interpersonal skills
Can manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Is delivery-focused, problem solvers who show creativity and initiative
Can work collaboratively and independently

Please note, the successful applicant will be required to hold valid NDIS worker screening check and a Working with Children Check issued for employment in the Disability sector. If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country or countries will also be required.
