The Technical Support Officer is responsible for supporting the full delivery services provided by the Clinical Systems and Monitoring Section in collaboration with all Sections. This role is specifically required to support the Client Management System project delivery.
The Clinical System and Monitoring Section support the service through:
The delivery of specific high-value complex projects
Data Quality & Assurance delivery
Centralized coordination of staff training and development
Delivery of continuous improvement activities involving change management and process improvement.
The clinical support functions within supports an extensive mental health service delivery program. The occupant of this position should possess strong leadership skills, energy, initiative, good communication skills, personal drive, and integrity and be a team player.
The Technical Support officer supports the Clinical Systems and Monitoring Section in the development of technical documentation in relation to the Client Management system procurement and implementation project.
Responsible for specific project deliverables related to the technical support of the Client Management System delivery such as technical documentation development related to system integration and configuration including knowledge base articles for use in training development. Triaging of issues related to the ICT integration.
Develop, maintain and collaborate with stakeholders, especially those involved in the system delivery and consultation processes, undertake other tasks as required to support the efficient delivery of the project as directed by the Manager - Clinical Quality and Assurance Office
Liaise with a range of high-level internal and external stakeholders on a range of various issues ensuring deadlines are met.
Apply the principles of cooperative and safe working practices consistent with APS Values and the Department's mission, vision, approach, and values.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS or SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
There are no mandatory clinical qualifications required.
Demonstrated experience (2+years) in a technical project officer or similar role with high-level technical program support and reporting skills
The successful candidate will be required to be able to achieve required clearances in accordance with Open Arms Policy.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of mental health services, as well as relevant experience in the Australian Public Service.
Experience in working in complex delivery environments with competing priorities.
Experience in Agile ways of working
