Maintaining vehicle functional conditions by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
Verifying vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
Maintaining vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
Keeping supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate is required
Valid Australian driver's full licence
Valid e safety check license
Commitment to workshop safety
Follow correct procedures and guidelines
Good attention to detail
Motor mechanic three years experience is required
Effective communication, fluent in English speaking and writing
Effective problem solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
