Vehicle Accessory Fitter - Local Motor Group Pre-Delivery

ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the continued growth of our business, were on the search for an experienced Pre-Delivery Accessory Fitter to undertake a range of vehicle accessory fitting functions for our modern, large scale Hobart dealership operation.
Based at our dedicated, modern Pre Delivery facility in Moonah, reporting directly to the sites Pre-Delivery Manager, this is a full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday position.
This position has a direct influence on customer satisfaction and repeat business relevant to the quality automotive brands offered by our Hobart dealerships so being well organised, efficient, productive and fitting accessories correctly on time and to a consistently high standard is crucial to being successful in the role. The ideal applicant will be someone who values quality, takes a great deal of pride in their work, can follow instructions and work effectively as part of a busy team to deliver exceptional customer service results.
Correctly fit genuine, approved aftermarket accessories (tow bars, roof racks, bull bars, canopies etc.) to a range of vehicle models including small to medium vehicles, SUVs, utilities and 4WD's
Carry out modifications and pre-delivery inspections
Safely and correctly use a range of hand and power tools
Conduct all work duties and maintain all equipment, work bays and benches in accordance with safe work practices
General labouring and workshop housekeeping as required
Strong eye for detail, high standard of quality and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Able to work independently and as part of a busy team
Punctual, reliable and productive
Previous experience working with any of the quality range of vehicles we represent, as well as familiarity with various would be desirable
