Fire Warehouse Coordinator

Essential Fire Services is a fire protection company based in Balcatta. We supply, install and service automatic fire detection, suppression systems and Passive Fire solutions to the Perth Metro area. 

To support our team, we require a new member on a part time basis (Monday to Friday 7am to 12pm) as a Fire Workshop Coordinator (Store person) to coordinate our workshops efficiency of storing, maintaining, delivering and retrieval of equipment and parts.

The role will be responsible for:

• Organising and maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse with safety considerations
• Stocktake and ordering stock equipment/parts to ensure inventory holdings are optimised
• Ensuring supplies and material are ready to be picked up by field staff for works completed that day/week.
• Tracking equipment
• Liaising with Technicians, Suppliers and Clients
• Ensuring Technicians vehicle/site stock/equipment is delivered and re-stocked in a timely manner
• Administration in keeping with all responsibilities

• Company vehicles   ensuring maintenance of vehicles for example spot checks and car servicing.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Strong sense of safety and an ability to identify OHS requirements 
• Good organisation skills with attention to detail;
• Ability to work autonomously
• Good computer skills to complete administration requirements of role
• Good interpersonal and time management skills;
• Current Forklift ticket with practical experience
• Australian drivers license - manual, C Class
• Willingness to provide a National Police Certificate (dated within last 12 months)
• Right to work in Australia
• Qualifications in fire/warehousing/trade will be an advantage but not essential.
