We are a boutique Melbourne based company specialising in all aspects of Wildlife & Pest Control services. We have been emerging and expanding in the last decade, even during the most difficult of Covid times! We are looking for a new member to join our growing team at our office in Balwyn North.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for personality matched with skill and looking for an easy going but professional accounts/bookkeeping person. We are looking for long term relationship with you to join our team and grow with us. 

ABOUT THE ROLE/DUTIES

  • MYOB proficient.
  • Accounts payable & receivables.
  • Experience payroll, BAS/GST, banking & reconciliation.
  • Also provide support to administration assistant in answering overflow customer calls and bookings. 
  • General administration duties: filing, report writing, document scanning and miscellaneous ad hoc administrative duties to support the director & field technicians.
  • Solid writing skills and confident telephone manner is essential. 
  • You will need to be comfortable once trained to work autonomously and you will need to be organised. 
  • This is a part-time position working 3 days a week, possible future expansion to a full-time position.
  • Hours 9.00am 5.30pm on Mondays & Friday with 3rd day of choice. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Must have strong MYOB experience. 
  • Strong telephone skills with strong verbal & written communication.
  • Microsoft Office 365  Word & Excel. 
  • A Certificate IV or Diploma in Bookkeeping and/or Accounting or related qualifications preferred.
  • Relevant bookkeeping experience (Min 2 Years)
  • Able to meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment 
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia with prior bookkeeping experience in Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions - invoices & receipts.
  • Process accounts receivables and payables
  • Review, code and process invoices and make payments.
  • Receive payments and email receipts to clients.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Create back charges to suppliers such as credit notes.
  • Issue all claim invoices to clients.
  • Bank and accounts reconciliation
  • Payroll processing
  • Prepare and lodge all BAS/GST & Superannuation
  • Provide administration support to Director and other ad hoc administration tasks as required.

SALARY PART TIME (3 days a week)

$30 - $40 per hour based on experience & expertise. 

  • Immediate start.

We are a small office team, and our aim is to provide a secure and supportive environment. We like to have a relaxed & friendly atmosphere but strive to provide a professional service to our customers.
