Sacca Heavy Repairs are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to carry out all aspects of repairs and overhauls to mobile plant equipment in our Mackay based facility. Monday to Friday with option of overtime.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for,
Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
Work quality is at a high standard at all times.
Must be able to follow direction and meet time frames.
Skills and experience
Must hold an Australian trade qualification.
Significant post trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, Caterpillar and Komatsu.
Demonstrate an understanding of Diagnostics, Problem solving and Fault finding. Provide assistance to other trades people in carrying out daily tasks.
Hard working with correct attitude, Reliable and able to work un-supervised.
Commitment to safety and team work.
Preferred but not essential,
Working at Heights Qualification
High risk EWP, Dogman and Forklift
