Bid / Proposal Coordinator (Signage Projects)

This newly created role (part time ~20 hours per week) will be supporting bids throughout the process to ensure bid excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of the Group through new and existing business wins.

We are not your typical sign makers. We get involved in major civil construction projects, developments and government signage tenders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring tender portals and centralised emails for opportunities. 
  • Doing initial assessment and qualification before distributing these to relevant business units
  • Setting up tender folders, coordinating team meetings and keeping the team informed of key dates and deadlines
  • Creating opportunities as sales leads in business tools
  • Assisting with responses, from collating information to writing qualitive responses, to graphic design to make us stand out from the crowd
  • Maintaining a current tender canned response toolkit to help with consistent (and fast!) tender answers
  • Maintaining a register of tenders, keeping progress updated
  • Maintaining a register of contracts, and informing business units of key dates
  • Submissions via portals and via email
  • Following-up and updating win/loss information on business tools
  • Assisting with project folder set up and administration support as required

Who will suit this role

  • At least 2 years in similar role (experience with WALGA is an advantage)
  • Excellent English writing skills and an eye for detail
  • Outstanding time management, organisation and prioritising skills
  • Basic graphic design experience (Indesign) and highly competent in Office suite.
  • If you know a bit about signage or print, thats a bonus (but not essential)
