Inventory Team Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this successful, privately owned manufacturing company in this varied and dynamic role. Manufacturing specialised equipment for an international market they are currently streamlining procedures and processes in order to accommodate forecasted growth. As the Inventory / Spares Team Leader, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Managing relationships across multiple sites and ensuring that inventory data is accurately maintained
• Reviewing and correcting daily reconciliations
• Managing stock availability across a range of SKUs
• Keeping customers, suppliers and stakeholders informed on schedules and updates for all files 
• Leading warehouse transfers and updating information within the system
• Maintaining physical/cycle stocktakes and ensuring that records are accurate
• Raw material allocation
• Quarterly reviews
• Ensuring accurate lead times 
• Assisting procurement team 
• Improve cycle counting and stock location
• Job status/valuation reporting
• Assisting with timely and accurate monitoring and logging of warehouse stock movements
• Assisting with maintaining inventory levels, records, code setups and movements
• Assisting with supply chain and production planning when required

In order to be successful in this role, you must display the following:

• Knowledge of various stock control procedures
• Strong supervisory experience
• A high attention to detail
• Previous exposure within a manufacturing organisation 
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
