We're looking for an Editor - Production Coordinator. You will be a senior editor, be an excellent communicator, with unique people skills, and high-level attention to detail.
We're specifically looking for someone who's a great problem solver, who can manage many different priorities at the same time and has at least 10 years experience in the same or in a similar role.
Knowledge and experience of creating engaging and emotive narratives
Awareness of and sensitivity to mental illness and psychological challenges and ability to communicate these to a wide audience via digital media
Track and manage large scale projects using a variety of software packages including but not limited to monday.com [link removed], frame.io [link removed], basecamp, figma
Track and manage large scale libraries of visual assets
Selecting appropriate visual assets in order to communicate complex and varied topics
Knowledge of internet and web based protocols for design and creation of online course, learning tools and digital media
Advanced knowledge of:
Logging, editing and creation of media with Premiere Pro CC
Design and animate motion graphics titles with After Effects CC
Audio editing and mastering with Audition CC
Colour timing and grading with Da Vinci Resolve
Responsibilities and Duties (not limited to):
Support the creative and team leads with prioritising tasks across our team of animators, editors, and videographers
Design and develop new courses and products to achieve required learning objectives and creative vision
Work closely with the creative director to ensure projects are completed within set budgets and of exceptional quality
Post produce videos for marketing and online purposes
Oversee and occasionally lead the team in the creation of courses and content from pre-production through to post-production
Bring together the final product of content and upload for in house and partner review
Develop efficient workflow and design styles in order to ensure a high quality of work within acceptable time frames
Liaise with partners to coordinate filming schedules in Australia and overseas
Organise film shoots in Australia and overseas including domestic and international travel
Location scouting and hiring in both Australia and overseas
Cast and audition talent for featured role-plays and co-ordinate talent shooting for various B-Roll filming both in Australia and overseas
Assist with filming role-plays and various content as well as providing support for on set talent and subject matter experts
Ensure there is open communication across all stakeholders, including our partners
Produce call sheets and communicate to crew members
Input courses into the online learning platform and make changes as required
You must be an Australian citizen, or at the very least have permission to work in Australia.
