We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer with a can do attitude and a vibrant personality to become responsible for a specialized portfolio.
Having tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science(s), with particular experience in technology along with relevant sales experience, will be desirable in securing this position.

Skills and Experience
Minimum 3-5 year's industry experience particularly in technical sales
Proven ability to be self-motivated
Proven ability to meet set sales targets
Ability to work under pressure
Outstanding negotiation skills
Highly developed communications skills, both written and verbal
High level of general business acumen
High level of attention to detail
Proven ability to work within both structured and unstructured work environments and without supervision
Ability to travel for customer and supplier visits, generally within Australia
Excellent time management
High IT competency including CRM, Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
Identify, develop and close business opportunities in an endeavour to increase turnover
Working closely with the Internal Sales team, and other departments, in terms of all relevant administration/forecasts/budgets; stock control; marketing/promotional activities; agreements and any other support requirements to assist in busines growth
Developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Attending to customer enquiries by phone, email or meetings.
Answering clients' technical questions.
Ensuring all leads and enquiries are updated in the CRM
Following up relevant leads, quotes and sales.
Attending to relevant enquiries.
Attending relevant customer meetings.
Working towards maintaining relationships with suppliers and providing relevant feedback
Performing technical presentations and product demonstrations/training for customers.
Negotiating with customers and suppliers on behalf of Kenelec Scientifics interests.
