My client is a luxury award-winning, custom home builder who undertakes between 5 and 10 projects per year. From design & construct to demolish and rebuild, they are hands on in all aspects of construction.
Recognised as a young builder of the year in 2015, the director is well admired within the industry both with regards to the way he conducts himself and his business. Honesty, workmanship, and community engagement are key contributing factors to his success.
The position is open to applications from both PT or FT applicants, with flexible working hours available.
The role would be multifaceted, in that one day, you may be assisting with pre-start, the next you may have to undertake a site visit and the next you may be assisting with tenders/estimates and schedules.
As a custom builder, their drawings and documentation need to be current and constantly updated to reflect the client's selections. They need to communicate these changes to both clients and trades/suppliers to avoid mistakes and alike on site.
General Office Administration support;
Correspondence with Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors;
Issuing Work orders and Purchase Orders;
Issuing Construction Variations;
Estimating and Scheduling Support
Maintain OHS requirements;
Preparing and maintaining Job Files;
2+ years of administration, ideally contract administration experience
Previous experience in the building and construction industry
Sound understanding of residential building construction processes
High level of computer proficiency with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
Flexible work hours Part Time or Full Time will be considered
