The role

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager they are seeking a self-starting, energetic and customer centric individual to be a part of the estimating team. This role is key to providing accurate and timely quotes to exceed customer expectations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Generate a high volume of customer quotes to meet customer request and deadlines;
• Interpret quotes & building plans to calculate pricing for client requirements based on architectural drawings;
• Maintaining client data and ensuring its integrity;
• Manage key stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

 

About you

You are a commercially focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have previous experience in estimating with a background in the building/design industry and are someone who enjoys learning.  To be successful you will have: 

• Experience in estimating/quoting;
• Experience reading architectural plans and developing cost estimates;
• Ability to discuss technical questions with internal stakeholders and clients;
• A confident and professional communication style;
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment;
• High attention to detail and the ability to pick up new systems quickly;
• Ability to think outside of the box and solve problems quickly and effectively;
• Intermediate excel skills.
