Marketing and Communications Manager

Northern Territory General Practice Education (NTGPE) is a leading Regional Training Organisation educating and training Doctors to become outstanding General Practitioners in Indigenous health and primary health care.

The Role

NTGPE is looking for an experienced marketing and communications manager to promote general practice training to junior doctors nationally and provide communication support to doctors in the program. This is a maternity relief position to commence immediately with a contract until the end of December 2021 with possible extension. 

The person we are seeking will:

• Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive team to develop marketing strategies to promote general practice training to junior doctors nationally.
• Lead and direct the small marketing team to develop and create strong targeted communications for internal and external stakeholders, including copy writing, media releases, newsletters, web and social media content and other corporate documents.
• Take a lead role in organising the GPTEC 2021 conference which will host over 400 delegates in Darwin.
• Maximise NTGPE's corporate identity, ensuring all marketing messages and materials are consistent with the company brand and style guidelines.
• Liaise with the corporate teams to coordinate the communication strategies for the education program.
• Direct and conduct market analysis and research to report and identify trends and opportunities.

Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or similar and demonstrated experience in a Marketing Management role.

You will be based in Darwin and be offered a competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, 10% Superannuation, 6 weeks annual leave, 10 days personal leave and the option to salary sacrifice.
