Salary:  Level 4 $80,452 - $84,797 pa (PSCSAA 2019)

Currently, there are two vacancies available for Level 4 Business Analyst. One is permanent and another for fixed term contract up to 30 June 2023.  

About us

The Information Management Services Branch provides leadership, direction, advice and support to facilitate information access and management across the department. The branch supports all departmental employees to comply with their legal record keeping responsibilities by maintaining and implementing the department's approved Record Keeping Plan, monitoring information management and record keeping practices, and developing and delivering quality systems, training and coaching.

The position

The Business Analyst is responsible for analysing business requirements, documenting and providing solutions to business units, and supporting the development, testing and application of the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).

In this role, you will perform analysis and design services including process mapping in close consultation with the Team Lead and business areas to ensure the implementation and management of EDRMS supports their operations. You will also need to identify and analyse user issues, and implement innovative solutions with an awareness of the departmental work practices and trends.

Your skills and experience in information system and a good understanding of records management principles and concepts are essential for this role. You will also need to possess good communication, and proven analysis, research and advisory skills.

Possession of or progress towards relevant formal qualifications, or equivalent experience.

This position is located in Cannington (however, you may need to work at other sites as required).
