Johnson Tiles Australia is a specialist in the supply of ceramic and porcelain tiles and has been operating in Australia for over 60 years, servicing both domestic and commercial markets.

A renowned leader in its market we have developed a long and proud history grounded in manufacturing, product development and customer service. 

We are currently experiencing substantial growth and are looking for an experienced Account Manager for Builders & Resellers to join our high performing team.


The role

The purpose of this role is to develop and grow sales, by maximizing existing Reseller accounts and the ability to bring in new business for Johnson Tiles. Your natural ability of striving for sales will build solid relationships with our existing customer base, whilst also cold calling on new potential clients. 



Reporting to the NSW State Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the existing customer base and develop new customer relationships
  • Achieving monthly KPI targets
  • Developing and maintaining a regular call cycle on weekly basis.
  • Grow the portfolio for the builder and reseller market segment
  • Site calls to builders, as required
  • Some regional travel will be required as part of this role


Skills / Experience

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in the retail, commercial or building industry and will demonstrate an ability to manage and build customer relationships using their outstanding communication skills. 


In addition you will have:

  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to see an opportunity and use initiative
  • Strong computer skills for weekly reporting requirements
  • Demonstrate an ability to obtain sales via tenacity and consultative selling
  • Sound time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A current driver's license

An understanding of the tile industry is desirable but not essential.
