Time management and prioritisation along with high attention to detail is essential to this role as you are key to the timely delivery of the services. You will display good problem-solving skills with the aptitude and ability to learn new systems and processes with ease. A high level of computer competency is essential to the operational function of this role. 

You must have a confident phone manner without fear of picking up the phone and converting an opportunity or handling a challenging client problem.

You must have a current drivers licence and access to a car.

THE BUSINESS & ROLE: 

Rpmenviro is a Water and Wastewater Treatment Consultancy firm. Established in 1997, Rpmenviro has expanded into four areas of consulting, design, installation, and servicing for both the domestic and commercial water and wastewater industries. We are a professional accredited agency operating from Mackay to Thursday Island west to Mt Isa and into Papua New Guinea, with a focus on quality of service and a commitment to establishing and maintaining a trustworthy relationship with all our clients and suppliers.

We are looking for an Administration Officer/Scheduler to join our Cairns team. Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining re-occurring servicing job schedule,
  • Organise and schedule callouts as received,
  • Organise technician travel itinerary,
  • Follow up work organised as needed,
  • Issue customer reports,
  • Enter job related supplier invoices,
  • Prepare and send customer invoices,
  • Ordering of service vehicle and workshop stock materials,
  • Prepare and submit weekly Pending/Progress/Completed job reports to the Manager,
  • Process customer payments,
  • Manage outstanding invoice procedures,
  • Complete new and update existing customer service agreements,
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service.

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate 3 in office administration would be an advantage
  • High level of computer competency
  • Previous experience in similar role would be an advantage
  • Previous experience using the software program Simpro but not essential
  • Knowledge of plumbing industry but not essential
  • Knowledge of the local FNQ area
