About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative that is looking to join a committed and professional team.

This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Contacting Customers to Follow Up on Leads, Opportunities, and Quotes with the aim to close sales.
  • Ensuring all interactions are accurately recorded within the CRM and maintain integrity of client data
  • Encouraging clients to purchase lines they may otherwise have purchased elsewhere
  • Tenaciously follow projects from inception to point of order
  • Actively pursue and generate Sales Leads
  • Ensure all new business and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner ensuring the business has the best chance of maximising every opportunity and lead.
  • Steadily grow sales among your basket of researched leads and prospects (existing and new)
  • Sales calls with existing or potential accounts, prosecuting sales opportunities adhering to the Call Quality Programme.
  • Taking part in Call Quality Programme to ensure all calls meet the required criteria and customer experience is of the highest standard.
  • Escalation as needed of all indications from customers that may suggest they are intending to purchase some or all of the products presented to them elsewhere
  • Liaise with relevant team members to ensure regular updating of projects to ensure we win every opportunity
  • Ensure relationships with other team members are productive and professional
  • Be available as a last tier team member to respond to inbound phone calls in accordance with the inbound Call Quality Programme.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within the customer service team by escalating solutions for approval.

Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 12 months experience within a faced paced sales role or similar.
  • A willingness to actively support the philosophy and values of the organisation
  • An ability to meet goals and objectives in a timely and effective manner 
  • A commitment to continual quality improvement and customer focus
  • Proven commitment to teamwork
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
