We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Graduate Engineer to join our Maintenance Team on the Sydney Metro Project. In this role, you will work with a dedicated team to ensure reliability of the driverless signalling system Communication Based Train Control (CBTC).
Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:
Carrying out preventative & Corrective maintenance programmes and repair of the CBTC Signalling and Communication equipment.
Regularly monitoring signalling and Communication defects and failures and liaise with key Stakeholders, Suppliers & Sub-contractors
Install system hardware and software upgrades.
Actively participate in closing work reports within Asset Information System
Act as Alstoms representative on shift, providing technical support to the Operator and maintenance staff.
Record and report all information relevant to Operational Safety Incidents / Accidents, service defects and failures in a detailed and efficient manner.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
Bachelor Degree in Communications Engineering, Electrical engineering, Software Engineering or similar
Analytical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot probklems and provide practical solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Excel
Enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and ask questions.
