Supervisor & Slitting Machine Operator

Foilmakers is a leading manufacturer of Graphics and Industrial Foils supplying Australian and Export customers from its sites in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide & Auckland. As part of the Aldus Group, we are a growing business and have an opportunity available in our Slitting and Finishing Team.

 

This Supervisor & Slitting Machine Operator position is based at our factory in Thomastown in Melbourne and is an integral part of our manufacturing process. The successful applicant for this position will have the following experience or expertise:

 

• A good working knowledge of safe work practices
• Supervision experience in manufacturing
• Machine operation experience
• Computer literacy
• Warehousing experience packing & despatch
• Forklift license preferred or licensing provided 

 

We will provide the relevant training to the successful applicant, and opportunities for cross training and development will exist. At times you will be required to work additional overtime hours or alternate shifts where the appropriate penalty rates will apply.
