Sonoma Baking Company is Sydney's premier artisan sourdough bakery. Our business is built on humble beginnings, quality products and uncompromising standards. We bake around the clock seven days per week and deliver all around Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle to the Southern Highlands and the Blue Mountains and beyond.

Role:

The Head of Logistics is responsible for the efficient and effective day to day operations of the logistics department. Focusing on customer order fulfilment to ensure an optimum level of customer service and satisfaction.

Managing Sonoma logistics operations in a safe, secure, efficient and cost-effective manner. Ensure that all vehicle assets are well protected, presented in accordance with the company brand and image, safe for operation and well maintained.

Working closely with both logistics and picking/packing teams to refine the existing business model, developing and executing logistics optimization strategies.

You:

An organised, professional logistics manager capable of leading a team from a wide variety of backgrounds to ensure Sonoma customers get orders Delivered On Time and In Full every day.

Management of weekly rosters to meet company KPIs

Early morning start, managing mostly night shift workers

Experience leading a logistics team, preferably in a food business.

Unrestricted C class driving licence, no MR or HR required.

Understanding of HACCP systems beneficial 

Experience with fleet management including organising regular scheduled maintenance and coordination of fleet rentals

Experience with logistics fleet software such as Workwave

Experience with staff training, driver training and WHS preferred
