5Point Projects is a Queensland based, award winning project management and construction business.  As a result of continued growth and diversification of the business we are now seeking a driven and highly capable Site Manager.


About The Opportunity

5Point have recently been engaged to spearhead the design and construction of a series of child care facilities around Queensland and into New South Wales with a forward book of work well into 2022.

The first of these projects is based in the greater Townsville area and you will be based on site for the life of the project.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for all site supervision tasks required throughout the cycle of the project.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for all on site project co-ordination
  • Active involvement in the procurement process
  • Supervision of all trades and personnel
  • Maintaining an active and positive safety culture on site
  • Liaising with client and project stakeholders
  • Maintaining and adhering to construction programs
  • Communicating with head office team

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • QBCC Site Managers' license
  • Trade qualification & background highly regarded
  • Minimum 5 years experience working for a commercial contractor delivering new build construction up to the value of $10m
  • Exposure to and experience in child care and / or education
  • Strong verbal and written communication ability
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
