Professional Sales Representative NSW/ACT

The Role

The Companion Animal Business Unit within Zoetis is looking for a high-performing Sales Professional to join the New South Wales/ACT team. In this role you will be accountable for achieving the sales budget for your territory by maximising the opportunities available across our market leading portfolio of Veterinary Pharmaceuticals, OTC products & Point of Care Diagnostics. The role is predominantly responsible for veterinary accounts in addition to a retail component.  The territory covers Eastern Sydney with a regional run.  To be successful in this role you will need to be sales focused with a desire to provide a high level of customer service and add value at every opportunity.

Role Purpose:

• To maximise sales across the Zoetis pharmaceutical, diagnostic and OTC portfolio in a specified territory
• To establish and maintain Zoetis as the preferred supplier of Animal Health products and services
• To manage and grow the customer relationship to add value to their business

Key Contribution Areas:

1. Sales; including identifying opportunities, leads and closing the sale with customers in Australia. Following the defined Zoetis sales process and rhythm. Find opportunity for demand creation and product utilisation. Achieve Territory, National and Organisational objectives
2. Business Development; including communicating and managing the B2B interaction between Zoetis and customers. Retain and grow the full portfolio across the continuum of care. Educate customers to drive adoption and increase confidence in prescribing/recommendation
3. Relationship Management; A strong team player who will embrace collaboration, hold themselves accountable and show genuine commitment to the team and the existing culture.  Utilisation of all Zoetis colleagues to provide a superior customer service. Develop and maintain relationships with Internal and external stakeholders.
