Based in Fawkner, 7 Chefs Pty Ltd is a market leader within the food manufacturing industry, specializing in the manufacture of an extensive range of pasta and sauces.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Customer Service and Support Officer to join the business to support the continued growth and delivery of products to our extensive client base across Australia, including major retailers and food service.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for:
Management of the groups debtors ledger including debtors collection.
Ensure debtors reconciliations are correct before monthly close.
Ensure payments received are correctly receipted, banked and allocated.
Investigation, reporting and processing of credit claims.
Maintaining debtor master data.
Issuing/verification of debtors statements.
Processing of new account applications/analysis and following up of trade references/ASIC enquiries.
Establishment of new debtors on the groups mainframe/accounting system.
Preparation and conversion of picking slips.
Assisting with customer phone inquiries.
Support the business unit with reconciliations, accounts payable duties and other tasks as required.
Liaise with the sales team.
Promote and support workplace health and safety.
Work with internal stakeholders across the business.
To be considered for this role you will need:
Minimum 1-2 years Accounts Receivable experience.
Intermediate computer skills Excel and MS Word.
Understanding of Accounting System Software. (MFG Pro experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrable decision-making, problem-solving and prioritisation skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
Effective interpersonal Skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
Must have the right to work in Australia
