Associate Adviser - Risk
The role of an Associate Adviser - Risk is focused on providing exceptional client service and administrative assistance to the Risk Advice team within Elston, as well as developing the skills required to become a professional Adviser. Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work both autonomously and with multiple stakeholders will make this a challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate.
Formulating and preparing Statements of Advice (SOA) documents, Review presentations and Records of Advice across a wide range of risk strategies;
Unique customisation and ability to provide a solution to the client's specific needs and circumstances;
Responsible for assisting a team of 3 Risk Advisers with the proactive management of a client's affairs;
Ongoing client maintenance, preparing for annual review meeting's and managing/preparing any compliance obligations;
Develop and manage internal relationships with the Advisers and key external service providers to create and maintain administrative and operational efficiencies;
Assisting with the implementation of advice and risk strategies for clients;
Investigating client queries and drafting responses;
To be proactive and communicate effectively with advisers and clients;
Maintain system (Xplan) integrity.
Qualifications and experience:
Relevant FASEA-approved degree preferred;
Completed tertiary education in an area complementary to the role;
Appropriate industry specific qualifications and/or experience in a similar position within a financial services or wealth management firm will be advantageous.
