This company is looking for a passionate, dynamic and driven Financial Analyst to join the team in a newly created role, reporting to the Commercial Finance Lead - APAC. The role will broadly support the Finance Lead and provide company-wide management accounting support. This role works cross-functionally across the business, using the company accounting software, reporting and analytical tools to assist in the collection, preparation, presentation and interpretation of periodic financial reports. The role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analysis which are prepared in various forms for the leadership team.  Critically important in this role is the ability not only to provide financial reporting, but to interpret and provide valuable insights and recommendations to the business to support decision making.  Most enticing of all is the ability to mould this role and make it your own.

 

To be considered for this exciting role, you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • CA/CPA newly qualified or working towards completion
  • Ideally 3-5 years experience in a similar role, with a business partnering focus
  • Strong attention to detail with first class numerical and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage own time and evaluate priorities, including balancing short and long term deliverables
  • Strong Excel skills and data analysis experience using various reporting applications 
  • Desire to learn new systems with an inquisitive mindset
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and constantly evolving business
  • Strong problem solving and fact-finding skills
  • Commercial thinker with desire to provide valuable information to stakeholders to support their decisions and understanding of the business results
  • Experience using and extracting data from SAP would be a distinct advantage but is not essential
