Working Site Foreperson/2IC

Actively working on the tools, Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries, Managing OHS compliance onsite including site inductions.

Greg Clark Building Pty Ltd, a leading and award-winning construction company based in the Northern Rivers NSW, with 35 years in the industry, have a fantastic opportunity for a working, hands-on Site Forepersons/2ICs. Our Company undertakes new construction, refurbishments, maintenance in commercial and residential sectors, whilst delivering the highest quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Actively working on the tools
• Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries
• Developing and building strong rapport with site teams, internal and external stakeholders
• Management of the construction program along with the Project Manager and Construction Manager
• Liaison with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to identify variations and claims
• Managing OHS compliance onsite including site inductions
• Oversee onsite construction with a thorough understanding of the scope, BCA and standards and project time frames and site operations on a day-to-day basis

 

Key Requirements

• Trade qualification as a carpenter
• Senior first Aid preferable 
• Reliable
• Current Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Leadership skills
• OHS knowledge
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to solve problems and manage conflict effectively
• A commitment to quality and an eye for detail
• Previous experience as a foreman or supervising in commercial and residential projects
• 2 relevant current references
