Norco Foods is a 100% Australian Farmer owned Cooperative with a strong range of Australias leading dairy brands, Norco has a sizeable share of the Australian market along with a substantially growing Beverage Brand product portfolio, food service range, and a unique cheese business sold Nationally.

We are looking for an energetic person to fill the full time role of a Territory Manager for our Fresh Beverage division role based in and around the Brisbane North area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful applicant will become a key member of the sales team. This role involves implementing and achieving the company sales, business priority plan and objectives while developing a professional business relationship with the management of each store in a designated territory. This role requires a high level of communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to negotiate for rewarding outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer needs through cold calling.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed time frame.
  • Supply management with weekly reports on customer needs, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience as a sales representative within Independent Supermarkets / Route channel.
  • Sound computer skills in a networked application including CRM/SAP would be an advantage.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiating skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organization skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
