Territory Manager - Sydney

Norco Foods is a 100% Australian Farmer owned Cooperative with a strong range of Australias leading dairy brands, Norco has a sizeable share of the Australian market along with a substantially growing Beverage Brand product portfolio, food service range, and a unique cheese business sold Nationally.

We are looking for an energetic person to fill the full time role of a Territory Manager for our Fresh Beverage division role based in and around the Sydney area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful applicant will become a key member of the sales team. This role involves implementing and achieving the company sales, business priority plan and objectives while developing a professional business relationship with the management of each store in a designated territory. This role requires a high level of communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to negotiate for rewarding outcomes.


  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to customer needs through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed time frame
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative within FMCG Route channel
  • Sound computer skills in a networked application including SAP would be an advantage
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiating skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organization skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Barista or coffee bean knowledge would be an advantage.
