Part time role 0.4 with potential to increase in the future
We are seeking the services of a dynamic and proactive accountant/bookeeper.
Formula Accounting is a small boutique CPA practice providing accounting, reporting, consulting and taxation services to small businesses.
We have an emphasis on using modern technology to assist, engage with and share with small businesses.
Working in a family friendly environment, a healthy work / life balance is encouraged.
Although technical ability is important, a positive attitude and work ethic will be highly regarded, as well as a willingness to learn new skills, work autonomously and perform a diverse range of tasks.
Being a relatively new business that has grown quickly, the role will be diverse but primarily include:
Assistance with business clients accounting/bookkeeping (including payroll);
General Ledger account entries and reconciliations;
Financial and management reporting;
Preparation of Business Activity Statements;
Preparation of Income Tax Returns.

Experience with Xero accounting software is also essential.
The position will be initially 0.4 with some flexibility and potential opportunity to increase hours and responsibilities in the future.
Remuneration will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
