Showroom Sales Consultant

We're looking for a Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Ballarat store part time Wednesday - Saturday . No two days will be the same in this busy role! 

What We Need

As a Showroom Sales Consultant, you will have an 'on the ball' attitude with the ability to work under pressure and be a strong team player with high energy who wants to go the extra mile. We require a peoples person who is trustworthy, reliable, have an impeccable attention to detail and a 'hands on' approach. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the flexibility to work in various roles as needed.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar sales role, hold a current Drivers licence, An understanding of the plumbing and/or building industry will be highly regarded. Weekend work will be required for Saturdays. The ability to uphold Workplace Health and Safety Standards and Procedures is needed.

You will take on the following duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch
• Meeting and greeting customers in the showroom
• Assisting customers with product selection
• Follow up and follow-through of customer orders
• Processing cash and account payments
• Handle over the counter retail trade sales and customer quotes, delivering exceptional Customer Service
• Picking orders, warehousing and stock control activities

Skills and Experience

• Customer service experience is essential, along with confidence, initiative & enthusiasm
• Team player, with exceptional safety awareness
• E-commerce an advantage but not essential
