Administrative Assistant

Our multi-service financial group is expanding and we are seeking to employ an administrative assistant in our growing business on a full-time basis. 

We are located in Abbotsford and our small team is comprised of a highly motivated, extremely focused group of professionals who provide quality advice in a timely manner to our client base. As finalists for the 2020 Australian Accounting Awards for best multi-service firm of the year we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service and are looking for a new addition to our team who takes the same pride in their work.

Job tasks and responsibilities;

  • Provide support to senior staff
  • Liaise with clients and assist with their enquiries
  • Sort, file & send daily post
  • Answer phone calls as required
  • Oversee the work inflows and outflows 
  • Lodge information with the Australian Taxation Office 
  • Lodgement of tax returns
  • Manage senior staff appointments

The person we are seeking will require the following; 

  • A minimum 2 years administrative experience
  • Be accurate and detailed
  • The ability to work in a dedicated financial environment
  • Confidently liaise with clients both on the telephone and via email
  • Familiar with MS Office suite Excel & Word in particular
  • Familiar with ATO Portal

The successful candidate will ideally;

  • Be well organised
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Be detailed in all facets of their work.
  • Be personable and enjoy working with other professionals. 
  • Experience with website development (Wordpress/Elementor) is highly regarded but not essential. 
  • Experience with ASIC/Prime Cloud is also highly regarded
