We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with industry experience in high security locking systems, mechanical keying, and electronic access control (EAC) to fill the role of Business Development Manager Victoria.
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Sales & Marketing you will provide a strong focus to the achievement of growth in sales and market share, as well as providing structured and consistent support to the ALC agent base. You will be responsible for project negotiations regarding mechanical keying systems & EAC along with the day-to-day management of project specifications and sales strategies across the entire portfolio of product ranges, on a local state basis.
Develop, implement, and drive the ALC Business Plan in consultation with the sales team regarding all mechanical keying platforms & EAC opportunities.
Source, drive, and influence product sales to major end-user project opportunities that are of strategic important to ALC.
Travel local &interstate when required to support sales initiatives and strategies.
Assume responsibility as the prime contact person for existing & new ALC customers/agents within your allocated territory.
Identify companies or individuals that provide specialist security advice. This will include:
Security Companys &/or Managers
Facility Management Companys &/or Managers,
Risk Assessment Companys &/or Managers.
Identify the need to provide specific product training as required.
Participate in management team activities and strategic business planning.
Responsibility of overseeing the sales growth of all product platforms and to drive the outcomes associated to reach monthly Sales KPIs.
Extensive knowledge of the keying sectors in which we compete - High Security Master Key Systems, Architectural Hardware & Electronic Access Control Systems.
Extensive knowledge of the security industry that will take these products to market on our behalf is preferred.
Experience in strategic business planning.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and verbal)
Excellent organisational and self-disciplinary skills.
Experience in working in a highly autonomous environment whilst also able to be hands on and enjoy a team environment.
Ability to train and develop others.
