About the role

Due to unprecedented growth, we are seeking a highly experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our parts team. You will be responsible to autonomously maintain the back counter, and supply parts to both the service and production sections. 

Key Responsibilities

• Taking orders for parts in person and over the phone.
• Maintain part supply through back counter.
• Identifying the correct parts to be supplied.
• Raising and entering orders.
• Process, pack and dispatch parts in a timely manner.
• Controlling outgoing spare parts freight movements.
• Completing all relevant freight consignment documentation.
• Liaising and maintaining an excellent relationships with suppliers.
• Interpret parts for truck and trailer repairs and provide quotations.
• Participation in stock take.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and stock.

Demonstrated Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter with experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Sound mechanical knowledge.
• A high level of customer service experience including communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Current Forklift High Risk Work Licence.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Microsoft Office programs including word, excel and outlook experience.
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment with the ability to multi-task.
• General warehousing skills.
