Experienced Marine Technician/Mechanic needed for QLD Premium Dealership

Euromarine is South-East Queensland's leading Volvo Penta Dealership, located in a modern facility in the heart of Queensland's marine hub- the Gold Coast Marine Precinct. We are a young, dynamic and growing organisation looking to recruit an experienced technician to join our team.

We focus on providing a first class service to both leisure and commercial vessels. Our work is based primarily around the Gold Coast area, our mobile fleet of vehicles attending local marinas and private residences alike. Our large workshop facility at GCCM is equipped with dual overhead cranes capable of 10t SWL, 7.5m paint booth and can hardstand vessels up to 60ft. 

Predominantly, our work is focused towards the high-end luxury vessel market, both OEM and customer-owned, demanding a first-class service from our team.

The role is diverse ranging from basic engine servicing, major repairs, to advanced computer diagnostics, sea trialing and more with no two days the same! All our employees receive ongoing full factory training to ensure they are up to date with the latest technology and have the skills demanded by our customers and the world's leading marine brand- Volvo Penta.

The Role:

• Service, maintain and repair work to vessels ranging from 20 through to 100 feet.
• Minor to major repairs on engines and transmissions.
• Computer programming and diagnostics.
• Workshop and mobile repairs both on your own and as part of our dynamic team.

Who we are after:

• Motivated and forward thinking with a strong passion for the marine industry and the drive to succeed.
• A qualified and experienced marine mechanic with experience with luxury vessels preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Gold Coast-based or willing to relocate.
• Volvo Penta background an advantage.
• Must be well presented, with current Driver's and Boat licence (or willing to obtain)

 

*Although seeking an experienced marine technician. Applicants from both automotive and truck dealership backgrounds will be considered for this role with a training/probation period on offer. In this case, applicants MUST be first class and have experience with computerised diagnostics and software programming. Diesel experience is also a must. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
