  • Our Community School, a registered independent school, provides secondary curriculum to students in an alternative school environment.
  • We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering accredited, pre-accredited, work skills and leisure courses.
  • Family and Children's Services supports children's services for long day care, pre-school programs, occasional care, vacation care and before and after school care.

Cire Community School is a leader in delivering innovative programs to students from years 7 to 12 who have disengaged from education and offers an alternative to mainstream schooling.  

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented administrator to support school operations at a newly established campus in Berwick. This is a permanent part time position working 4 days per week during school terms only commencing in term 2, 2021.

Joining a high performing team of four working across three campuses, the Campus Administration Assistant will be a warm and welcoming presence at Cire Community School, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to the whole school community. 

Who Are You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a customer focused administrative or business support role. Previous administrative experience in an education setting, the ability to coordinate financial operations and knowledge of school database systems would be a distinct advantage. 

You will be technologically proficient and can adapt quickly to changing technology, processes and other systems. Your ability to flex and pivot will serve you well in this role, as will your exceptional organisational and time management skills.

You thrive in a dynamic working environment and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.   Your friendly and approachable manner means you can engage with students, the wider school community and external stakeholders effectively. The ability to work well as part of a team will be imperative, and you will use your excellent communication skills to get things done and influence positive outcomes.

Cire Community School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain a National Criminal History Check and maintain a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and level 2 first aid currency.
