Contract Packing - Assistant Manager

Packcentre is a leading national company providing marketing distribution solutions for a number of FMCG producers. Delivering contract manufacturing, packing and packaging services to an established client base, we are now ready for you to help manage the growth in production that we are experiencing at our Erskine Park facility. 

The planning, implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the overall performance of production runs will be your domain.

Selected duties from the full job description:

  • Assist the Production Manager in day-to-day activities by preparing, setting up and scheduling daily work
  • Support the Production Manager in staffing, material acquisition and customer liaison
  • Provide customer service to clients
  • Train staff, provide guidance and support
  • Manage HR issues when required
  • Work closely with Sales and internal Customer Service to ensure all clients' requirements are met
  • Manage contractors' performance in eg cleaning, waste management

Past experience and successful performance of the production phases of the contract packing process would be very beneficial.
