A new Property Services Events Assistant is required to work with the Property Services and Operations team, as well as the broader support and teaching teams and College leadership to create a safe and productive College environment for events and maintenance management for the College community.
The role will be required from 7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday and some attendance after hours and weekend functions such as Open Day.
The successful applicant will have:-
Capacity to set and pack up equipment and furniture for College operations including examinations, assemblies, functions & events;;
Delivering items around the College including boxes of paper and parcels;
Playing a key role in emergency management (relating to emergency policy and procedures);
Undertaking general building maintenance duties when not required for events;
Undertaking daily mail duties including delivery & collection for the Post Office;
Physical capacity to undertake manual handling tasks
Understanding of and capacity to apply Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Proven independent and collaborative skills
Proven communication and interpersonal skills
Capacity to actively support the life of the College Catholic mission and Mercy values
