Spot is a fast-growing Telehealth company with 25 employees. We provide Speech Pathology services to children and adults all over Australia, and have a strong focus on providing services to rural & remote areas. Our team is predominantly remote, however our headquarters is situated in Brisbane.
About the role
BOOKKEEPER - Minimum 3 years experience required
Our bookkeeper is an important connection between our therapists and our clients. You will be required to be a jack-of-all-trades, interacting with therapists and supporting daily billing enquiries & administrations, as well as working efficiently within Xero to perform high-level tasks such as preparing payroll & BAS. Our ideal new employee is tech - savvy with a strong working knowledge of Xero. You will thrive working online, be fast at learning new technologies, and keen to keep skills up-to-date. You will be a self-starter and capable of problem-solving, and creating efficiencies in billing systems & processes. You will be capable of organising your workload to manage a portfolio of clients and therapists. Great communication skills and a strong customer service focus are essential, as you will be required to be client-facing.
Supporting the therapists with billing enquiries and other needs
Daily administration of billing requests & monitoring team billing errors
Development of new billing processes & training support staff in these processes
Accurate and timely processing of financial transactions into Xero, including AP and AR invoices, daily bank and credit card reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
Accounts Receivable administration and follow up via phone
