The Company

A start up business focused on controlling utility renewable energy assets across Australia. The team has expert knowledge of the NEM and great understanding of energy trading.

The portfolio has grown to over 2GW and will continue to grow.

Location

Ideally you will be based in a major city on the east coast but candidates from anywhere in Australia will be considered

The Role

• Provide plant operation and spot market services for renewable generation assets
• Monitor systems and auto-bidding software’s
• Interface with AEMO
• Be first point of contact for NSP’s
• Handle emergency calls for plant personal and stakeholders
• Analyse data and be able to provide reports
• Monitor weather forecast systems

About You

• Background in electricity energy trading (ideally intermittent generation)
• Spot trading experience
• Excellent knowledge of NEM and ideally understand FCAS
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be an individual who wants to be challenged and further their career
• Willing to do shift work
• Be happy working from home

 Requirements

• 2+ years experience in bidding
• Strong understanding of the NEM
• Good with IT systems
• Able to work alone
• Good with numbers
• SCADA and plant control systems would be beneficial
• Proficient in SQL would be beneficial
• Calm when under pressure
• Full working rights for Australia
