Rubber Lining/Surface Treatment Manager

IKAD Engineering is a proud Western Australian private company with a national and international footprint. We provide a broad range of Project Management and Engineering solutions across a wide variety of Industry Sectors including Defence, Industrial, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Water Technology.

We are currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified and experienced Rubber Lining/Surface Treatment Manager with extensive experience for our great local team.

Role & Responsibilities.

The Managers main duty is to productively manage & control surface treatment activities, related to IKAD fabrication projects within IKADs Henderson workshop.

• Provide and maintain a healthy and safe work environment in accordance with IKADs Health and Safety Policy.
• Co-ordinate resources, scheduling and activities to effectively manage jobs and report of progression of all projects.
• Assist estimators in preparing rubber lining and surface treatment tenders.
• Procure materials for all projects from approved suppliers.
• Effectively manage sub-contractors.
• Develop and promote good communications between all levels of staff and employees.
• Ensure that direct labour is efficiently organised and utilised to achieve outcome.
• Develop and promote a professional working relationship with authorities, client consultants and the community.

What you will bring to the team:

• Extensive Supervision and Management experience.
• Good Knowledge and Understanding of Work Safe Regulations.
• C Class Drivers License.
• Good computers skills required, an experience with MS suite. Excel, Word & Outlook, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to prioritise conflicting priority, complex problem solving and working under pressure.
• Management qualifications (desirable)
