Echo Grove is an emerging furniture and living retailer currently located in Brisbane, but soon to be expanding nationwide! 

We specialise in providing our clients with high end, boutique designer pieces and exceptional service, all without the boutique price tag.

We are looking for an individual with logistics and wholesale experience within the furniture industry. 

We have a dynamic split role available for a warehouse/wholesale manager that excels in inventory/delivery management and customer service, someone who possesses the skills to implement progressive operational principles and build long term client relationships to continually grow with our business.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong individual and group task management skills, strong problem solving skills, a willingness to learn and adapt, with high personal standards and appearance, especially those experienced in dealing with developers, interior designers, architects and hoteliers.

This role has potential for growth and career progression within the business for the successful candidate.

The position available is based in our Sumner showroom warehouse, located on Spine Street.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Warehousing Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be expected to perform:

Inventory management

  • - Physical and Digital

Receipting warehouse stock

  • - Compile and structure reporting

Receipting delivery and warehouse invoices

  • - Work with the accounts team to collate and cross reference invoices for validity prior to payment

Arranging transport and dispatch of goods

  • - Work within our current network of delivery providers and continue to expand our network

Collate orders, picking/packing and labelling goods

  • - Physical product preparation and delivery management

Work closely with the sales team

  • - Contact customers directly and communicate details clearly with sales staff

Manual handling, inclusive but not limited to:

  • - stock allocation/relocation, container unloading, implementing showroom movements, preparing and storing products before/after viewings

Attention to detail

  • - Responsible for product quality management, accurately meeting delivery schedules and performing minor repairs as required

Customer service experience

  • - You will be required to speak directly with customers in person and over the phone, you may also be asked to assist with showroom activities or supervision

Warehousing Skills and Experience:

What we are looking for,

Ability to quickly learn the in-house software

  • - Utilise backend e-commerce software

Open Drivers / Truck license 

  • - Current and unrestricted drivers licence and competent ability to maintain and operate a small truck

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • - Unwavering commitment to finalising self and managerial allocated tasks to high standards


Wholesale Responsibilities:

Customer service experience

  • - Conversing and continuously following up with clientele to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • - Continue to build, develop & manage our existing client base.
  • - (when required) Travel to meet with our existing commercial clients to continue the growth of our business relationship.
  • - Processing general sales documents and reporting.
  • - General administrative tasks with competency working with back end systems.
  • - Ability to work autonomously and self-manage daily tasks.
  • - Converse with clients in our Sumner showroom.

Wholesale Skills and experience

What we are looking for,

  • A proven track record of wholesale experience in the furniture industry
  • Ability to build a strong and loyal client base, including identifying and engaging new clients
  • The ability to listen to customer's needs to deliver high standards of customer service
  • Show enthusiasm, initiative and innovation
  • Competency working with back end systems such as Neto and performing data entry
