Great Hourly Rate - Full Time Positions, Fly In/Fly Out of Perth or Residential in Kalgoorlie (Dayshift Only), Variety of Work Sites.

 

Drill Fitter (Underground)

Perseverance Drilling, Underground Pty Ltd is a Western Australian owned and operated underground drilling company, specialising in underground production drilling, and contracting to the underground mining industry across Australia.

With a main workshop and office located in Kalgoorlie-Boulder we offer a wide range of underground drilling options for all types of hard rock underground operations.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Underground Drill Fitters to join our team. Working with our small expert team you will have opportunities to work on a number of different drills rig in various locations attending to break downs, servicing and rebuilds. We also take on various R&D projects, so customisations and thinking outside the box will also be required.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Australian recognised Heavy Trade or Automotive Trade Certificate,
• Valid Manual Drivers License,
• National Police Clearance (3 months),
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical,
• Safety consciousness,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Positive attitude,
• Self-Motivated who takes pride in their work,
• Must be comfortable working independently and a part of a team.

 

Favourable Experience & Knowledge:

• Canbus RCS system knowledge (Highly favourable),
• Proven recent experience in drill rig maintenance (Highly favourable),
• Maintenance and repairs to Atlas Copco Rigs including Simba M4C, M6C, M7C & E7C,
• Hydraulic and Electrical fault-finding knowledge and experience,
• Ability to read/use Hydraulic and Electrical Schematics,
• Knowledge of Remote systems and cameras,
• Underground Mining Experience.

 

Employment Conditions:

• FIFO Perth or a Residential Roster in Kalgoorlie-Boulder (or surrounding towns),
• 12hr Day Shift only,
• Good pay based on experience and attitude,
