Account/New Business Coordinator

Our client is a leader in the Artificial Hedge, Plants & Floral category, importing products and selling into Australias most recognised major retailers.

Due to the ongoing success of the business, they are seeking a passionate, sales and results driven Account/New Business professional to help further their presence in Australia and NZ.

The Role:

  • Manage existing major account in NZ
  • Establish and develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Manage entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing of new accounts 
  • Identifying new opportunities through research, lead generation, cold calls, networking and converting into long-term partnerships 
  • Proactive with driving sales and growth with key accounts through a robust promotional plan, managing core range and providing NPD.
  • Manage stock levels and all overseas orders, including maintaining stock quantities for core range and promotions
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of product orders according to client needs and objectives
  • Identify industry trends and keep up to date with product knowledge and competitors
  • Provide consistently high levels of customer service to clients and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for key contacts, clients and products.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Account Management/B2B sales experience.
  • Advanced Computer Skills, including MS Office Suite
  • Passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets & KPIs
  • A structured and organized approach to sales & administration processes
  • Ability to grow and develop existing client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service on a consistent basis
  • Strong financial acumen, with highly developed numeracy, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills, with ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent listening, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Well organised and meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrable ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of an organisation.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related discipline would be an advantage
  • Hold an open clean Drivers License
