Moree Site 2IC

Join a global market leading supply chain business with a proud history of over 60 years. We are currently seeking an experienced 2IC to oversee the day to day operations of our storage and handling site based in Moree.

Reporting to our Site Manager, your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of grain receival, storage, grain husbandry and out-loading of all commodities stored within CHS Broadbent's facility, assist with the promotion of the site with growers and clients, rostering for all casual employees, both in and out of peak periods, maintaining an awareness of local issues in order to develop relationships with customers and clients. You will also be required to assist with staff training where appropriate as well as fumigation, pest control and grain sampling.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory role and experience working with bunkers
• Current drivers licence
• FEL and Forklift tickets
• Demonstrated management experience;
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving abilities;
• A strong focus and understanding of OH&S
• Experience in building strong relationships and gaining cooperation; and
• Flexibility is paramount as this position requires additional hours during peak periods.

 

Remuneration

You will be offered a competitive salary plus superannuation. Final package will take your skills and experience into account
