Fairbrother has recently been successful in securing a high profile, landmark project in Launceston and a rare career development opportunity exists to join this project as a Contracts Administrator. This is a full-time position working with a contracts team that consists of another CA and a Contracts Manager to support this dual site project.

The position will be responsible for:

• document control - compiling, registering and distributing project documents (drawings, specifications, manuals etc)
• coordinating shop drawing approvals through various consultants
• coordinating the completion of contract administration and report requirements
• assisting with the management of contract compliance and financial management as direct by the Contracts Manager or Project Manager

Candidates with commercial construction experience and contracts exposure who want to work with and learn from the best are encouraged to submit their details for consideration.

Success in this role will require:

• strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry
• knowledge of document control systems and shop drawing workflow approvals
• a strong work ethic
• a positive approach to a team environment
• superior attention to detail
• excellent computer skills an operating knowledge of Microsoft word and excel, along with Aconex is desirable
